Teachers in Northeast Ohio can give students a first hand experience and appreciation of the Lunar New Year at Cleveland Public Library and by visiting some of the events scheduled in the predominantly Asian neighborhood to the east of downtown Cleveland.

Here are some of the planned events:

2018 Lunar New Year – Year of the Dog

***Saturday, February 3, 2-3:30 p.m., Cleveland Public Library FREE New Year Celebration, LSW Auditorium, Cleveland Public Library – 325 Superior Ave. Cleveland, OH 44114.***

February 10, 5-9 p.m. Chinese Lunar New Year Gala, Westlake High School Art Performance Center. Dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m., the performance starts at 7:00 p.m. More details are coming in the next few days.

February 10, 克城台灣同鄉會新春聚餐, Yellowtail Buffet

February 11, 2-3:30 p.m. Cleveland Chinese Music Ensemble, Hudson Library & Historical Society, 96 Library St, Hudson, Ohio 44236

Saturday, February 24, 2-6 p.m. Chinese New Year Celebration hosted by the Confucius Institute and CAFSA at Cleveland State University, Westlake Chinese Culture Association and The Great Wall Enrichment Center. Main Classroom Auditorium Cleveland State University, 2121 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, Ohio Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 dollars at the door.

Saturday, February 24, 11-5 p.m. FREE 2018 OHIO China Day, Cleveland Public Auditorium, 500 Lakeside Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114.
