The Brazil is surely dreaming. With its extremely varied landscapes between mythical beaches and tropical forests , its rich and radiant culture and the joie de vivre of its inhabitants , one understands why the largest country in South America is one of the most popular destinations for travelers.

1. Rio de Janeiro

Brazil's must-see, Rio de Janeiro has something for everyone with its legendary beaches , fantastic views of Guanabara Bay from Corcovado and Sugarloaf, and of course, its famous carnival . It is a big city where you can easily stay several days without getting bored! To see in Rio:

Corcovado : it is the hill where the famous Christ the Redeemer is located and which offers a magnificent panoramic view of the surroundings

The Sugar Loaf : another summit with breathtaking views and accessed by 2 cable cars.

Vista Chinesa : it offers one of the most beautiful views of the city. It is reached by a steep uphill and steep path but the reward at the end of the road is worth it!

The Tijuca Forest : In addition to being declared a World Biosphere Reserve, it is the largest urban forest in the world!

The Rio Carnival : it is the most important celebration of the country with 4 days of celebration that bring together the best samba schools!

Guanabara Bay : the second largest bay in the country, it is home to a hundred islands and many beaches like Botafogo

Maracana Stadium : it's the famous football stadium that hosted the 2014 World Cup

Selaron Stairs : steps of 215 steps made of colored tiles, built by the artist Jorge Selaron

Lage Park : it's a beautiful park that houses the visual arts school and a small café

The district of Leblon : quieter than Copacabana and Ipanema, there are pretty shops, cafes, and clubs

2. Rio Carnival

If there is one thing to do in Brazil, it's good to go to the Rio Carnival! Known around the world, it is not to be missed if you are in Brazil in February .

It is the largest carnival in the country, bringing together some 2 million people through 500 festivals spread throughout the city - the climax of which is at S ambodrome - where hundreds of samba schools and neighborhood troupes perform with of colorful costumes .

And especially ... sleep well before the beginning of the festivities, because during a few days the nights will be white, or short!

3. São Paulo

If you love celebrations, cocktails and music, the great city of S ão Paulo , crossed by Avenida Paulista is for you.

It may not have the same seaside charm as Rio, but it's a big city on the move, famous for its nearly 30,000 restaurants, bars and clubs that keep visitors awake to the small morning.

In addition to the buzzing nightlife, you can discover some great green spaces like Ibirapuera Park and famous museums like the art museum of São Paulo.

As a bonus, this is one of the best places in Brazil to dance samba !
